MORE SINGLE TRACKS - SOME OF MY FAVOURITES

I am fortunate enough to have been buying music during the 1970s, 80s and 90s when, in my opinion, the best music was made. Here I am sharing some of my favourite songs from those decades, some may not be as familiar to you as others. As I listen to these songs again I wonder why music like this doesn't seem to be around today; why is there so much **** around today which is laughingly described as soul?? Listen and enjoy!

Your comments would be appreciated, otherwise I will feel like I am just wasting my time.

Thank you for your uploads; this is some top notch stuff!

IMO there are quite a lot of talented and soulful artists around today, but they just get very little exposure. Reel People, Richard Earnshaw, Incognito, Jill Scott, Electro Deluxe, Esperanza Spalding, Erykah Badu are some of the artists who have released great albums very recently. D'Angelo is going to release a new album this year.

Plus, modern era has given us the Internet, which makes music much, much more accessible. I love living in the time where I have so much music (both from today and previous eras) right at my fingertips.

Peace!
